Getting a Survey

What to know...

Beginning the Process

The first step is to request a proposal. This can be done by calling the office or clicking on the Proposal Request Form in the upper right corner of the website.
Please only use the Proposal Request Form for new Survey requests.
Survey request are reviewed in the order they are received. If we are unable to perform the requested Survey we shall notify you as soon as possible.
Due to our current workload it may take several weeks before a cost estimate and schedule can be prepared.
Generally, the Proposal is emailed.

Completing the Process

If the proposed cost estimate and schedule is acceptable, Eagle Peak Land Surveying, Inc. requires a 50% deposit prior to commencing work with final payment due at the completion of the project. Town of Taos gross receipts tax for the entire amount shall be charged in the final invoice.
Field work shall be scheduled after receipt of the 50% deposit. You can expect completion of a Plat of Survey 30 to 60 days after the field work has been completed.
Final payment must be received prior to recording the Plat of Survey with the Taos County Clerk.
You shall receive two (2) full sized hard copies of the recorded Plat of Survey after recordation.
